Poor Amy has had it rough the past few days. She did so well on her first day recovering from her wisdom teeth being taken out. But these past few days her jaw has been hurting quite a bit and it's difficult for her to eat. I hope her jaw gets back to normal soon. Have any of you ever had problems with your jaw after having your wisdom teeth out?
I was excited yesterday because I was able to go hiking with my friend Linda for the first time since December. I hurt my achilles tendon on my right foot and haven't been able to hike for months. I've been going to the foot doctor and having physical therapy for over a month and it's starting to get a little better. I had no idea how delicate the achilles tendon could be. I can't walk barefoot any more (which is hard for me, I love to walk barefoot!) and I always have to have orthotics in my shoes now to keep my arch supported. I never realized walking flat was bad for your feet. The foot doctor told me when he worked in Montana he rarely saw achilles tendon injuries because everyone wears cowboy boots with a sturdy heal. Who would have thought? Well, it was very nice to actually hike again and I was grateful for the freaky weather (it was only 76 degrees yesterday) so I could go. I hope the weather is still decent when Melanie comes next week.

poor Amy. I don't remember having a terrible time with my jaw, but I do think it was sore for a bit and I couldn't eat any "real" meals for a few days. I think I had mine out on a Monday, then by Friday I could finally eat a hamburger, and boy it tasted sooo good!!
I didnt know you were going to physical therapy for weeks. I know the feeling of not being able to go hiking or running or anything though. Its really difficult for me to wear shoes, especially running or athletic shoes. Sorry to hear you injured your foot though, glad its getting better.
